The exhibition unfolds as a textile threshold. A large hanging figure dominates the room, suspended between apparition and body. Surfaces are layered, stitched, saturated. Embroidery, sequins, pearls and reclaimed fabrics accumulate into dense, tactile planes. The space feels slowed down, nocturnal, internally lit.
At the center stands Mother of the Night (2025), a monumental textile installation depicting a witch in transformation. Around her, smaller works populate the gallery with female figures that shift between myth and present time. Bodies extend, intensify, dissolve into animals. Ornament becomes structure. Decoration refuses passivity and turns into assertion. Fabric functions not as backdrop but as architecture.
The exhibition situates textile as both memory and agency. Domestic labor is not referenced nostalgically but reorganized as visual authority. In Heresy in the Small Hours, femininity is not represented as identity but as movement: a condition of ongoing becoming. What remains is a charged stillness, where transformation is neither spectacle nor metaphor, but a structural decision.
