About the artist:

Jiri Mayer is a young contemporary artist known for his captivating and vibrant works.

He creates his paintings by zooming in on sketches made in Microsoft Paint and transferring the resulting shapes onto canvas with finely painted acrylic paint.

Through his meticulous technique, Mayer achieves a pixelated effect that adds a unique dimension to his pieces.

In his artwork, Mayer explores the dialogue between childhood and adulthood, as well as the interplay between past and present.

By exaggerating the drawings and incorporating bright colors and a playful sense of humor, Mayer successfully captures a sense of unified joy during these divided and uncertain times.
