The artist Fred Smith tells us a bit about his work:
My work is exploring the myriad of daydreams and possibilities a human has within their life.
Often told with comedic undertones and hypocrisy.
A space between choice paralysis and urgently choosing every option available.
Chaotic and absurd making references and connections that seemingly have no relation, beyond the fact that the same mind can be drawn and pulled a million different directions at once.
Dedicated to my craft and disciplined from time spent pursuing my own dreams, but not being anchored to a look or a feel for the sake of being recognized, constantly reinventing and altering based on intuition and emotion.
Obsessed with the physical and mental act of creating images, and sculptures to challenge and process my own thoughts.
