Continuing with our series, "Artists You Have to Follow”, Munchies Art Club Magazine unveils the transformative world of Rae Hicks, an artist who examines the mythology of the ordinary and the everyday landscape.
In this exclusive feature we introduce the artistic process of Hicks, who recently held a solo exhibition, "Sick Building Syndrome," at L21 Gallery In Palma, during the summer.
Join us as we invite the artist to showcase some of his remarkable works, offering readers an intimate glimpse into Rae Hicks' artistic vision.

The aspect of the works ranges from the everyday, intensely quotidian to semi-narrative fantasy.
This notion of crossing the ‘veil’ between apparent normality and the uncanny weird is inherent to my own method of processing experience but continues a certain thread of horror and sci-fi as well as philosophy and critique.
